Space Physics

Space Physics studies various physical phenomena and dynamical processes in solar atmosphere, interplanetary space and the Earth’s environment. It was established in 1958, and became national key discipline in 2002. At present it has 13 professors, 4 associate professors and 2 other faculties. There are four research fields: (1) space plasma physics; (2)Solar and interplanetary physics; (3) aeronomy, (4) Magnetospheric physics in planets.
